In this episode, I get personal in sharing my own healing journey- the struggles, triggers, and breakthroughs that have brought me to where I am today. Like everyone, I've struggled with self-doubt, crippling fear, and emotional wounds that kept me prisoner in my own life. We go behind the scenes of my transformation and show how the setbacks or "lows" were actually divine practice for exercising my "no" muscle...and taking leaps of faith toward the life I wanted to live.
In this episode we'll explore:
Triggers as teachers
Why healing is the key to unlocking your potential
Why we end up on "loop"
How to navigate your healing journey with or without help
An unexpected mini lesson on narcissism (haha)
I wasn't alone, I had the help and guidance from a life coach turned life-long friend! A life coach can provide guidance, accountability, and support while you're getting your "sea legs" in the healing trenches. Often, the path forward is difficult to see when you're standing in the middle of it.
No matter where you are in your journey, you need to know this: healing is possible. Growth is possible. Healing is ongoing. It doesn't happen overnight, but it doesn't need to feel unobtainable.
Join us as we begin this beautiful podcast journey together. Heal Yeah!

The Rise of Herbalism in Modern Medicine
Why are more doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals embracing herbal medicine? And if 80% of the world’s population uses herbal remedies alongside conventional medicine, why has the United States been so slow to follow?
In this episode of Heal Yeah!, Mallory breaks down the growing paradigm shift happening in healthcare. Drawing from her lecture at the West Virginia Herbalist’s Convention, she explores the history of herbalism, why it was pushed out of mainstream medicine, and why it’s making a powerful comeback.
This isn’t an argument against modern medicine—it’s a conversation about integration. Discover why the future of healthcare isn’t choosing between pharmaceuticals and plants, but understanding how they can work together to help people heal more completely.
Whether you’re herbal-holistic curious, a healthcare professional, or simply looking for a more holistic approach to wellness, this episode will challenge what you thought you knew about medicine—and offer a hopeful glimpse into where healing is headed.

What happens when two people from opposite sides of the political spectrum stop trying to win—and start trying to find the truth? In this episode of Heal Yeah!, Mallory sits down with her friend Pat McGeehan, Majority Leader of the West Virginia House of Delegates, for an unlikely conversation about politics, philosophy, healing, and one of the biggest issues facing West Virginia right now: the data-center boom. Despite coming from very different political backgrounds, Mallory and Pat share something more important than party affiliation—a love for West Virginia and a willingness to question the narratives they’re being given. Together, they dig into the unanswered questions surrounding data centers, the half-truths that can shape public opinion, what this massive expansion could mean for West Virginia, and why “economic development” deserves much more scrutiny than a press release and a promise of jobs. But this episode is about more than data centers. It’s also an experiment in what political conversation could look like when we stop treating disagreement as danger. Mallory and Pat explore triggers, nervous-system responses, philosophy, ego, political identity, and the radical idea that discovering you’re wrong doesn’t mean you lost the argument—it means you got closer to the truth. No teams. No political loyalty tests. No winner or loser. Just two West Virginians sitting at the same table asking: What is the truth—and are we willing to hear it? Psychotic. Murderer. Evil. Those are some of the words used to describe Lindsay Clancy. But in this episode of Heal Yeah!, we’re asking a much harder question: what if understanding what happened is just as important as condemning the outcome?
Three children lost their lives, and nothing about this conversation minimizes that devastating reality. Instead, Mallory is joined by Lisa, who has a background in psychology and served as a paralegal, for an unfiltered discussion about the questions surrounding the Clancy case—and what it may reveal about the way we understand postpartum mental illness, women’s health, motherhood, medical advocacy, and the healthcare system itself.
Together, they explore the critical differences between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis, the role that sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, mental health treatment, medication, and support systems can play during the postpartum period, and why so many women may be afraid to admit when something feels profoundly wrong.
The conversation also goes beyond one case. Why is women’s health still so poorly understood? Why are women so often expected to push through pain, exhaustion, hormonal upheaval, and psychological distress? And when a patient says, “Something is wrong with me,” what happens when the people responsible for helping her don’t fully understand what they’re seeing?
Mallory also shares her own recent experience of feeling unheard within the medical system, opening a larger conversation about trusting your body, asking questions, seeking second opinions, and becoming an active participant in your own healthcare.
This episode is not about excusing tragedy. It is about refusing to learn nothing from it. Because if women are afraid to ask for help, if families don’t know what warning signs to look for, and if our medical system still has enormous gaps in its understanding of women’s bodies and minds, then the question becomes bigger than Lindsay Clancy: How many women have to become tragedies before women’s health becomes a priority?
This episode contains discussion of child death, suicide, postpartum psychosis, mental illness, and other sensitive subjects. Listener discretion is advised.

“Come here legally. Do it the right way.” But what happens when doing it the right way takes 10 years, $14,000, and navigating a system that even immigration attorneys struggle to understand?
In this episode of Heal Yeah!, I sit down with Maria Philimonova, an Estonian immigrant turned American citizen and successful business owner, to explore the realities of immigration beyond political headlines and campaign propaganda.
From the financial and emotional toll of becoming a citizen to prejudice, misinformation, and changing immigration laws, Maria shares her firsthand experience navigating a system few Americans truly understand. Along the way, we dive into female independence, cultural perspectives, and the importance of challenging our own beliefs.
This isn’t about red versus blue, it’s about cutting their influence out of the conversation entirely. We need to ask questions, and recognize that we can’t fix a system that we don’t truly understand.
It’s time to stop arguing about immigrants and start listening to them.
